A Childs Own Library.

author:Edusearch
A Love of Reading is Important. There are many different ways that parents can help their children develop a love of reading. This is one way and it can be done in a variety of ways and very cheaply. Starting a home library for your child shows her/him how important books are. Having books of their own in a special place boosts the chance that your child will want to read early and often. Even very young children enjoy paging through books and looking at the pictures. Building a home library doesn't have to be expensive. You can pick up books at garage sales, flea markets, library sales, etc., often for a quarter or less. Bookcases can be assembled from cardboard boxes, egg crates, bricks and boards. As long as the space is uniquely theirs, your child will love it and use it!
