NCEA Guide and NCEA Student are free apps that help students, parents, whānau, and employers learn more about NCEA.
Deputy Chief Executive Richard Thornton says the NCEA Guide App has been very popular and we are pleased to now offer the latest version.
“The App was originally available in both English and Te Reo. The new version provides the same information in Samoan, Tongan, Niuean, and Cook Island Maori.”
"The NCEA Guide App is proving valuable in helping parents understand NCEA, and what their children are studying at school. Extending its reach into four Pasifika languages will increase its usefulness and align with the brochures and videos we produce in the same languages."
The NCEA Student App is designed to help students set goals for what they want to achieve in their NCEA courses, and then to track their progress towards those goals as they complete assessments. Because students enter their own assessment result information they get the most up-to-date picture of their current position.
The apps are designed to complement each other and can be downloaded for free from the Apple App store and Google Play Store. More information, including example images, is available on the NZQAwebsite.
