NEW ZEALAND'S EDUCATION INFORMATION ONLINE |
6 August 2012
Last year, the TEC published the inaugural Tertiary Education Performance Report.
This report captured the 2010 financial, educational, and organisational performance of Tertiary Education Institutions (TEIs), as well as aggregate performance of Private Training Establishments and Industry Training Organisations. The report brought together already published data that was publicly available from TEIs, TEC, and quality assurance bodies.
The TEC has commenced work on the 2011 report and an outline of the report?s content is provided below.
The information presented in the report mainly covers participation and educational achievement of students in the three largest tertiary education funds specific for teaching and learning: the Student Achievement Component Fund, Industry Training Fund and Modern Apprenticeship Fund.
As was the case last year, we intend to provide each TEI with a copy of their two-page performance profile to fact check before it is included in the final publication. We anticipate this will happen in early September with the report?s publication in October 2012.
We will also be shortly contacting TEIs to gather representative images to include in the two-page performance profiles.
Should you have any questions about the 2011 Tertiary Education Performance Report, please send them to [email protected].

Each TEI will then have a two-page 2011 performance profile including:
