If you are a local and leaving school this year, you could be eligible to study a two year diploma at Bay of Plenty Polytechnic, without incurring any tuition fees! This could save you up to $9,000!
We offer full-fees scholarships to two students from each of the local colleges, who enrol in a full-time Bay of Plenty Polytechnic diploma of two years duration! If you are considering a career in business, IT, fashion design, marine or environmental, architecture, music or sport, and you are local, then check them out!
Our diplomas provide you with an NZQA approved qualification that will set you on the right path to employment. If you wish to continue study, you may be able complete your degree here at Bay of Plenty Polytechnic, or pathway into a degree programme at another national tertiary provider. The degrees listed below are all able to be studied right here in Tauranga.

Pacific Coast Scholarships are open to students from Tauranga Boys and Tauranga Girls Colleges, Otumoetai College, Mount Maunganui College, Bethlehem College, Katikati College and Te Puke High School.
Your eligibility for a scholarship will be based on either your academic achievement, sporting prowess, artistic ability, leadership potential or your contribution to school or community life.
