New Zealand to UK

If youre a registered New Zealand teacher, you can teach in the UK without going through a UK registration body. Generally, youll find that New Zealand teaching qualifications are recognised and reputable teaching agencies offer invaluable support to New Zealand teachers looking to undertake short term teaching assignments in the UK. Many UK teaching agencies are represented in New Zealand.

Applications for teaching positions at independent schools should be made directly to the schools in question. Work permit regulations are identical for independent and state schools.

If you are interested in undertaking a teacher exchange check out our Linking Minds programme or contact the Association of Colleges of Education in New Zealand (ACENZ)

UK to New Zealand

If youre a registered UK teacher looking for teaching opportunities in New Zealand, contact the Ministry of Education for requirements and general information. All of the latest teaching positions tend to be advertised in the New Zealand Educational Gazette
