Employment outcomes are important for any tertiary education institution.

Red Fish is a work placement and employment service set up for NZMA and sister company FERN English Academy students and graduates. NZMA has academies in Central Auckland (Anzac Ave), South Auckland, West Auckland and Hamilton. In the past, NZMA has hired Employment Advisors to help students and graduates into the workforce, however the recent establishment of an independent recruitment company highlights the commitment the provider has to both its students and the industries it serves.

For international students NZMA and Red Fish offer a range of popular work/study packages. Red Fish will place those doing their National Diploma in Hospitality Management or National Diploma in Business into relevant part-time employment (up to 20 hours per week) within the first three months of their studies. Upon successful graduation, these students will be placed in relevant full-time work in New Zealand.
