The Knowledge Breakfast is an eight week pilot education series of a studio-based and live-hosted programme with pre-recorded inserts, to be broadcast on Saturdays on TV One from 6.15am- 9.00. The first pprogramme began on Sat. May 25 2002.
This includes teachers and other education professionals across all age ranges within the sector - Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, Research and Professional - Pakeha, Maori, Pacific Island and other ethnic and immigrant communities.
The target audience for this pilot series is adults engaged or concerned with the education sector.
It is also intended to attract attention from concerned Parents, Board of Trustees members, students and the wide range of adults connected to the education sector. The producers are aware that many potential viewers will not watch the programme live, but either record it for later viewing or access it through the knowledge.nzoom.com page or on the IP Satellite Multicast test.
