We invite you to attend the 2004 Autism NZ Inc. Conference.

The conference will provide an opportunity to participate in a series of stimulating workshops and discussions. It will include presentations on issues relating to autistic spectrum disorders.


KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

RITA JORDAN
Rita has a masters degree in Child Development and Linguistics. She has taught in Higher Education since 1985 on initial and professional development programmes in special needs, and on undergraduate and graduate programmes in language development, clinical linguistics, educaiton studies and cognitive science. Since 1993 she has developed and run a range of programmes in autism studies at The University of Birmingham including a web-based one. She has written and researched on many aspects of autism and lectures internationally.

DR MOHAMMED GHAZIUDDIN
Dr Ghasziuddin is a child psychiatrist with extensive clinical and research experience in the field of autism and is currently working as Associate Professor of Psychiatry with Tenure University of Michigan, USA, he is director of the Asperger Clinic. He is also and Associate Research Scientist with the Department of Psychology, University of Michigan. He is on the editorial board of four journals and is highly respected in the field of autistic spectrum disorders.
