United World College Scholarships
Author : Lucy B

Created : 03 Feb 2005
Last Revision : 03 Feb 2005

United World Colleges in New Zealand is inviting applications for scholarships to one of ten international schools overseas.  United World Colleges bring young people from all round the world to study together, to promote peace and international understanding through education.

The two-year scholarships cover all board and tuition, airfares, insurance, and include a small personal allowance.  Students complete the International Baccalaureate, which is accepted at New Zealand and overseas universities.

Study commences in September this year (or January if awarded to Swaziland) and students should be between16 and 18 years of age, doing well academically and involved in their school/community.

Scholarship details and application forms will be emailed to all secondary schools and are available on the website: www.nz.uwc.org (2005 application forms will be uploaded early February).

Applications close on Friday 9 March 2005
