| Can anybody suggest what can be done with a 13 year girl who absolutely refuses to go to school? Her mother is at her wits end, the child is antisocial, and does not make friends easily after having a very bad experience with a friend 'stabbing her in the back' once before. Her mother has been intouch with CYPFS but they won't do anything to help because she is not being abused, she has been in touch with the police youth aid officer, and the school is not giving her any support either. This girl is not a bad child, but I fear she has some underlying problems which need to be addressed. The parents have separated and the situation is not helped by the fact that the father will do nothing to help either.
