Principals become Students April 04, 2002

During the first week of the school holidays a group of new primary and secondary principals have gone back to school as students to master some new skills.
Each Principal received a new laptop from the government and part of the week was spent learning how to use them effectively. Others areas that were looked at included improving management skills and looking at financial management.
The course was held at Kings College in Otahuhu in South Auckland and nearly 200 principals attended.
Part of the $27million set aside in last years budget to better school management was used to fund the course.
