Auckland Business School November 10, 2002

Auckland Business School

The Governement is to give a capital contribution of $25 Million towards the development of the School of Business planned by the University of Auckland.
The grant is under the new 'Partnerships for Excellence' policy framework. The contribution by the Government has to be matched by an equal contribution from the private sector.
The University is looking to establish a Business School
using senior staff who have international standing in research.
Included will be new teaching and research programmes with initiatives in Maori and Pacific business development, entrepreneurship and small to medium enterprise business innovation. There will be a Graduate School of Business and a variety of research and teaching activities.
