|NEW ZEALAND'S EDUCATION
Auckland Museum tells the story of New Zealand, its place in the Pacific and its people.
Auckland Museum's Lifelong Learning Programmes for Schools are based on our permanent galleries and special exhibitions. All programmes are designed to reinforce key competencies, skills, concepts and learning areas identified in the New Zealand Curriculum and Te Matauranga O Aotearoa.
Auckland Museum's school programmes are divided into three categories and are designed to reinforce New Zealand curricula.
More than 60,000 students and teachers benefit annually from these services, which are funded jointly by Auckland Museum and the Ministry of Education through their Learning Experiences Outside The Classroom (LEOTC) programme.
