Karanga Camp is located at Te Henga or Bethells Beach as it is more commonly known, on Auckland's west coast.
Set on twenty-five acres of lush native bush in the Waitakere Ranges, Karanga is the perfect location for school camps, family get togethers, community groups, business retreats and team building. The venue can be hired for the day or overnight.
Local attractions, all within a ten kilometres radius include; giant Kauri trees, Te Henga; a typical black sand west coast surf beach and Lake Wainamu; a valley dammed by advancing sand dunes.
Karanga can accommodate up to seventy four people; with four double unit cabins sleeping seven persons per unit and three rooms off the main hall sleeping six people per room. Tenting is by prior arrangement only.
Karanga has a large dining hall with a servery; a fully equipped kitchen complete with a six element commercial stove; stainless steel benches; commercial grade steriliser; refrigerator; store room and freezer.
Catering is available on request. Visitors need to supply tea towels, towels, first aid kit, bedding including pillows, detergents, cleaning products and Auckland Council approved rubbish bags.

All our instructors undergo a recognised training and assessment programme aligned with the NZQA.
