Mahitahi Trust provides a range of educational and vocational programmes tailored to meet the needs of individual learners and the wider community.

We provide recovery-orientated day programmes that are aimed at assisting people experiencing mental unwellness to develop their life and living skills and enjoy their relationships with others.

Programmes include:

• Pre-Vocational Training & Support
• Vocational & Community Participation
• National Certificate in Employment Skills, Level 1
• Job Club
• A.K.I.N.A - Advocacy/Peer Support
• T.O.K.A - Maori interpretation of Wrap (Wellness Recovery Action Plan)

Mahitahi Trust is also Registered and Accredited Private Training Establishment with TEC and NZQA to deliver and assess units for the following qualifications:

• National Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions Support, Level 4
• National Certificate in Employment Skills, Level 1

It is our vision in the future to offer a pathway within our PTE  for learners from level one through to level five and through collaborative relationships with other tertiary provider and or whare wananga level six to eight.

Our education consultancy service can assist organisations wanting staff development with workplace training covering key aspects of culture in health practices.
