Scots College
Scots College is an Independent Day and Boarding School for Boys’, Years 1 to 13. Our School roll currently sits at 855 students. Scots was founded in 1916 by the Presbyterian Church.
Scots is a modern learning institution with first class facilities and leading edge technology. The College has an excellent academic record which reflects an emphasis on learning and high expectations of student achievement.
Scots College is an International Baccalaureate World School.

A Prep School, Middle School and Senior School
Our focus is to provide an all-round education; where sound work, ethics, self discipline and independent learning and leadership skills are fostered; developing balanced individuals who can go into the community with confidence and become successful citizens.
The school programme prepares students for NCEA at Levels 1, 2 and 3, and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and IB Diploma.
International Students
We have over 30 International Students from Asia and Europe. These students stay in the Boarding House or in Homestay accommodation, arranged by the College. Those who are proficient in English take part in the full academic programme whilst students requiring English language assistance are enrolled in the College ESOL programme.
Boarding
The College has boarding facilities for 80 students from Year 7 to Year 13. Weekly and full term boarding options are available. Boarders are closely involved in all facets of College life and develop independence, maturity, leadership skills and lasting friendships.
