After nearly 20 years of offering community performing arts programmes in Auckland, The Performing Arts School now operates from beautifully designed custom built premises at TAPAC (The Auckland Performing Arts Centre) - with easy free parking for students. A wide range of creatively based dance (hiphop, ballet and contemporary) acting (for screen and theatre ) circus arts (trapeze) youth companies and quality holiday programmes are designed for children, teens and adults of all ages and abilities. Tutors are highly qualified professionals who are actively involved in New Zealand's performing arts industry. They are committed to providing outstanding and innovative training in the performing arts through courses that meet the needs and aspirations of individuals of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.  There are no exams - the focus is on formal (theatre) and informal (studio) performance outcomes.
