The Hairdressing Academy

 The College of Beauty Therapy and The School of Make-up Art Technology are separate divisions of The Hairdressing Academy.

It is our passion to develop & train learners in the art of hairdressing, nail technology, beauty therapy, holistic & massage therapy, IPL, make-up and retail in our boutique state of the art premises.

We offer various levels of accreditation from NZQA to International diplomas depending on the course.

We are a well established college and have been in  the industry for over 20 years.

NZQA Full Time Courses

• Beauty Specialist-Beautician, Nail Technology, IPL (Full time - 4 days a week)  - 16th January  2012 and 7th February 2012


• Make-up Artistry - 7th February 2012 and  20th August 2012


•  Hairdressing (year one)  23rd January 2012 (Full time 4-days a wk) Hairdressing (year two)  7th February 2012 (Full time 4-days a wk) 


• Body- Holistic Massage & Spa Therapies (Full time - 4 days a week or 3 day a wk if NZ qualified beautician)  7th February 2012  and  5th November 2012
