Laidlaw College is an evangelical, tertiary institution offering government accredited courses and programmes in theology, ministry, counselling and teaching. Established in 1922, Laidlaw College (formerly the Bible College of New Zealand) is the largest interdenominational Christian college in New Zealand, with campuses in Auckland and Christchurch.

Laidlaw College's South Island campus in Papanui, Christchurch operates from a custom designed building that celebrates learning, community and creativity.

Students come to Laidlaw to prepare themselves for participation in God's purposes for the church and the world. This participation takes many forms but our graduates mainly move towards careers in churches; positions of cultural leadership; the professions of teaching and counselling; and cross cultural missions.
