Travel Careers & Training Ltd is a Private Training Establishment and has been operating in New Zealand since 1985. We were the first private training provider to open in Wellington, and begin specialising in training for the travel and tourism industry.  Today, we have a campus in both Auckland,Wellington and Christchurch.

The Directors and shareholders of Travel Careers and Training Ltd are also the major shareholders of Sir George Seymour National College of Travel and Tourism.

At Travel Careers & Training we are the only travel & tourism provider in New Zealand to include work experience in our travel courses giving students excellent industry experience. We also offer the only NZQA recognised flight attendant training programme in New Zealand. With a 91% employment success rate our graduates have found employment in airline, travel, tourism, hospitality and other major industries. (This statistic is based on 2010 graduates. It does not include our Christchurch graduates.)

Training should be fun

We believe that in order for training to be effective it needs to be fun, creative and real.  For this reason we use accelerated learning techniques which appeals to all types of learners and allows the tutor and student to work together to achieve goals.  Our classrooms are filled with music, props, and posters.

Our premises

We have custom-made training facilities in both Wellington and Auckland and Christchurch.  In Auckland we have an exclusive 747 cabin trainer for the training of flight attendants, there is a mock 737 trainer in Wellington and at Auckland Airport we also have a full cabin 737  trainer.
