AMES IT

The goal of AMES is to help you into the IT Industry. An industry that has experienced continual growth and continues to grow even during an economic downturn.

Since 1992 in conjunction with industry leaders such as Microsoft, Cisco and CompTIA AMES has been building and developing qualifications that meet the demands of industry - employees that have both the knowledge of latest technologies and are able to apply this knowledge to benefit both the employee and employer.

AMES has strong links with industry and especially with Microsoft.  This is demonstrated

by AMES being a Microsoft IT Academy and AMES is the only Microsoft Academic Engagement Provider in the Asia Pacific Area. 

A representative from Microsoft is a member of the AMES Stakeholders Committee.

AMES is NZQA accredited and offers training up to level 7. To ensure that AMES graduates are studying

the most up to date technologies AMES has developed training materials written by local experts and

verified by recognised industry experts.  All materials are approved and accredited by NZQA prior to delivery.

Students who study at AMES not only receive NZQA approved qualifications but also can obtain international

certifications that make them stand out in the job market.

AMES has three campuses, central Auckland, Takapuna on the North Shore and Hamilton.
