Northcross Intermediate

Northcross Intermediate School is situated in park like grounds on Auckland's North Shore overlooking Rangitoto Island and the Hauraki Gulf. The school is approximately 20 minutes north of down town Auckland, New Zealand and on the doorstep to many facilities and community centres.

Northcross has a present roll of over a 1100 students aged between 10 - 13 years of age and takes great pride in offering a two year programme that provides the skills so vitally important in becoming lifelong learners.

Northcross prides itself on preparing and motivating our Young People for academic success and as a school we are always seeking to enhance each child's educational experience.

Northcross Intermediate recognises the invaluable place The Arts have in a child's capacity to learn, using a variety of different mediums. The school has an extensive Cultural programme which includes Kapa Haka, Performing Arts, Productions and a wide range of Music opportunities.

Northcross Intermediate School has approximately 150 teams competing throughout the year in different sporting events. Northcross is a member of the North Harbour Year Seven and Eight Sports Organisation which offers a place for any student who wishes to participate in sport regardless of their ability. Every year Northcross sends our top teams to AIMS, the National Intermediate and Middle Schools Sporting Event of the year, down in Tauranga.

Students from overseas can study English together with other international students while continuing with the NZ Intermediate School Curriculum.
