International fee paying student numbers at PTEs have declined, but equivalent full-time student (EFTS) numbers and revenue have both increased since 2007. First time student visa application numbers are declining, down a third from 2008/9.
-
Enrolments from the sector’s top five markets (China, India, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Japan) all decreased in 2012, though enrolments from China appear steady.
