Are we supporting Creativity

In a world that is constantly grappling with how best to educate the workforce of tomorrow we are asked to question how we are supporting creativity in our children. Sir Ken Robinson who is recognised internationally as a creativity expert, challenges the way we are educating our children. In 1998 he led an advisory committee for the British Government that looked at creative and cultural education. The �Times� stated that it raised some of the most important issues facing businesses in the 21^st century. Sir Ken Robinson challenges the way we are education children today and to rethink how we cultivate creativity. He believes that creativity is as important as literacy and says �Schools kill Creativity� . He believes that we are all born with creativity but by the time we have been at school for a number of years we often lose it. Children need this as part of the future skills they need for the 21^st century.
