Auckland Museum School Programme 2007
Author : Ed

Created : 05 Dec 2006
Last Revision : 05 Dec 2006

The new Auckland Museum Education Program outlining the services to schools for 2007 is now available.  We present a mix of innovative new programmes and some old favourites.

New Stevenson Learning Centre

The Museum provides education services to more than 500 schools and early childhood facilities around the region. We educate around 66,500 school children every year in our one classroom making us the largest provider of Learning Experiences Outside the Classroom in the country - and this number is growing!  The new Stevenson Learning Centre on the first floor will provide dedicated learning spaces for schools education, life-long learning education activity, volunteer programmes and interpretive services. These will adjoin the existing Childrens Discovery Centres. A television and audio studio will also be given space on this floor.

Overall there is plenty to enhance school-based activities in the coming year.  Click more info to view.
