Marine Biology Scholarships at Kelly Tarlton's

Kelly Tarlton�s offers two scholarship valued at $9,000 each to students planning to enter their first year studying a Diploma in Marine Studies at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic. In addition, recipients can gain valuable work experience working over the summer holiday break at Kelly Tarlton�s Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World.

The scholarships cover the course fees for the two year Diploma. Successful graduates of the Diploma are able to complete a Bachelor of applied Science in their third year, in Tauranga at BOPP or AUT in Auckland. Graduates can also pursue a career in aquaculture and complete their Masters in Aquaculture at Deakin University, in Melbourne, Australia.

Kelly Tarlton�s also offers a $10,000 Antarctic scholarship for Antarctica New Zealand�s postgraduate research scholarship programme. This programme is designed to encourage researchers to pursue their interests in Antarctica and the Southern Ocean.
