Course overview


 


These level 5 diplomas prepare people to work in management roles in small businesses, especially in the fields of aviation, tourism & travel.


 


All 36-week courses, they contain a core of skills required for any business including marketing, staff management and accounting and also include a group of specialist courses that apply to a particular field.


 


The Diploma in Tourism & Travel Management focuses on the special issues that arise in the marketing and management of tourism businesses and is for people who want to work in or manage a small tourism business.


The Diploma in Tourism & Aviation (Flight Attending) provides graduates with opportunities to specialise as a flight attendant or work in a supervisory or senior customer service role in the aviation or tourism sectors.


The Diploma in Business Management and Marketing concentrates more on general issues in managing small businesses and is for people who want an all round business qualification.


 


Entry requirements


 


International students whose native language is not English must have an IELTS score of 5.5 (academic). Provisional entry may be granted to applicants who do not meet the above criteria but can present evidence of ability to succeed (eg maturity, life experience, work experience, other study).


 



Fees


 


International student fees (incl. GST)  = NZ$14,000.00


plus course related costs =  NZ $500.00


plus  administration fees  = NZ$200.00
