Clubdays range from computers and carnivorous plants to map-making and music and are organised by the committee and parents. Tutors and guest speakers often run these sessions. The cost is usually $5 per family, sometimes more if speakers have a high charge. Ideas for clubdays come from members, sometimes catering for a childs particular interest. Clubdays, trips and camps are family occasions, and parents are expected to remain with their children.
A library of games, puzzles, videos, CD ROMS, audiotapes and books is available on clubdays. NZAGC has an extensive library for parents and educators.
