About TOUGHLOVE
Our vision: is for families to be loving, cooperative and harmonious.

Our mission: TOUGHLOVE New Zealand is a non-profit organisation providing support and education that gives parents confidence to cope with unacceptable adolescent behaviour.

TOUGHLOVE achieves its mission by striving to:

Operate on-going weekly support group meetings for parents troubled by acting-out behaviour from kids of all ages, even adult children.

Work in partnership with Police Youth Aid, schools, social service and referral agencies, counsellors and other non-profit services.

Hold on going weekly meetings that parents can attend at any time.

Develop new programs using the existing TOUGHLOVE problem-solving model.

Develop support programmes for adolescents and young people.

Run tailor made in-house seminars for corporate organizations for the benefit of parents on their staff.

Promote cooperative relationships between parents and their children.

Promote a positive, realistic image of parents and families.

Encourage parents to make choices that promote loving solutions to family problems.

Help children of all ages to become responsible adults.

Further information about this programme and Parent Support Groups can be found at Toughlove
