The New Zealand Teachers Council is the professional and regulatory body for registered teachers working in English and Mï¿½ori medium settings in early childhood education, schools and other related education institutions in New Zealand.

The New Zealand Teachers Council aims to support the professional status of teachers and high quality teaching and learning through its mandated functions.
