SERVILLES ACHIEVES A HAT TRICK AT THE AUSTRALASIAN HAIRDRESSING AWARDS

Servilles came out on top at the 2012 Hair Expo Awards in Sydney, taking away the events three top business awards for Educational Organisation of the Year for the third consecutive year, Excellence in Marketing and Business of the Year.

One of Australasias highest profile salon brands and the regions leading hairdressing academy, Servilles took the top award in all three categories for which they were finalists.

Servilles are thrilled to be recognised among some of the best talent Australia and New Zealand has to offer.

Were delighted with the wins they are a reflection of the talent, creativity and hard-work we pour into everything we do. says owner Paul Serville.

When he set up his first salon over 40 years ago, Paul wanted to be at the leading edge of the hairdressing industry. Paul always had a strong vision and big ideas. Now with five salons, 87 industry awards and Australasias leading hairdressing academy to his name, Paul is passionate about helping others to achieve similar success and educating the hairdressing talent of tomorrow.

Since its establishment in 1993, the Servilles Academy of Hairdressing has provided the industry with more than 2000 highly-skilled and sought after graduates. Continued innovation in technology and training such as blended learning give Servilles Academy a leading edge in hairdressing education.

Servilles Academy Manager, Lauren Clark, believes that Servilles reputation and size places it in a unique position to attract and host acclaimed guest artists. Providing students, tutors and stylists with demonstrations, shows and practical workshops remains a point of difference to Servilles education methods.  ï¿½Exposure to hairdressing stars from overseas really helps to inspire and motivate our students.

Recent guest artists to the academy include Renya Xydis, Sophie Roberts, 2011 Australian Hairdresser of the Year Jayne Wild, Catarina Dibiase, Alan White and most recently Joey Scandizzo who won Australalian Hairdresser of the year at the awards last week!

The Schwarzkopf Professional Hair Expo Awards, now in its 27th year, is widely recognised as the most significant award event in the Australian and New Zealand hair industry. It acknowledges excellence in all aspects of the industry, from creative talent and salon design to technical achievement and business management.
