Rangatahi Maia Funded Training Places and ITC scholarships - Whakahiapo Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Information Technology

This 36 week Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Information Technology course operates in conjunction with Skill New Zealand as part of their Rangathai Maia programme. This will be the sixth year that we have offered this course and places are open for young people of maori descent, aged between 17-21 years. For Skill New Zealand funded places ALL course fees are covered meaning that no student loan is required towards course fees for the fully funded training places. ITC scholarships partially fund the courses, meaning that students pay only $5340 for the 36 week course.

"The applicants this year were outstanding, making our job extremly difficult" said Sarndra Stephens, ITC Careers and Recruitment Advisor. "We met more than 30 young people who all impressed us with their motivation and enthusiasm." We would like to congratulate the successful applicants listed below, and wish them all the best in theri studies!

These scholarships provide students with assistance towards this unique 36 week course, which includes National Certificates in Travel and Computing, together with a range of Cultural Studies. Students may have recently left school, or have been out of school for up to 5 years.

Further information is available at International Travel College of New Zealand
