The Skeggs Foundation

The Skeggs Foundation exists to fund promising and elite Otago athletes who otherwise may be disadvantaged geographically from training or competing at the necessary levels. Funding is through the Skeggs Group (operational funding) and through other corporates.

All sponsorship monies go direct to athletes and/or coaches. Coaches' grants are in co-operation with the Community Trust of Otago.

Grants of $150,000 a year are distributed to athletes ($75,000 in March and September) and $50,000 a year ($25,000 in March and September) to coaches.

For further information email Ron Palenski.
