This course is funded by TEC and it is free for 16 and 17-year old youths and 18-year old students who left school within the previous 6 months.

The IT Career Alternatives course gives entry level training to web design, computer technical servicing, basic systems operation, network support and software applications. It has made such a marked impact on the first group of trainees that these youths have chosen this career pathway:

The IT Career Alternative course offered at DAS Training Solutions has boosted the confidence for school-leavers who have failed within the secondary school system and for those youths who have opted to leave school for no apparent reason. The Youth students at DAS Training Solutions are subjected to a variety of teaching styles from industry-experienced tutors who possess both the empathy for the students and their needs, and the ability to create confidence in the students to go for further training and/or venture into employment.
