Improving teaching, learning and thinking skills with ICT

The TUANZ Education Conference is not simply about technology. This nationwide conference focuses on ways in which ICT can be integrated into the curricula and brought into the classroom. Our aim is to improve teaching, learning and thinking skills in every school throughout New Zealand. And with your help this goal is achievable.

In 2007 we will hold ten conferences throughout New Zealand. Each one will feature:

  • Inspirational International Keynote Presenters> Sheryl Nussbaum-Beach or Miguel Guhlin, both from the USA.
  • A vast array of workshops at each venue detailing innovative uses for ICT in the classroom
  • Opportunities to network and share ideas
  • Opportunities to establish collaborative/support groups
  • For the first time ever the opportunity to get inside the mind of the generation C students as TUANZ invites secondary schools to produce movies for our TUANZ Digital Movie Competition that showcase how students are using technology and how they want to be taught in the future! Get your students involved here> as there are great prizes from Toshiba and Adobe to be won!
