Tools4Work

Tools4Work is the schools initiative of Skills4Work. Skills4Work was born as a result of a merge between ATNZ (Apprentice Training NZ), CTNZ (Career Training NZ) and the support services of Competenz (Industry Training Organisation). Skills4Work offers a range of training and support services to help people through their industry qualifications in the food & beverage, baking, engineering, manufacturing, maritime, fire protection, heating & ventilation, lifts & escalators, locksmiths, refrigeration & air conditioning and rail industries. Tools4Work looks after everything beforehand, by helping prepare students to enter the work force. This is achieved by promoting apprenticeships directly to over 60,000 students annually, providing school based qualifications in engineering, providing students with scholarships onto pre-trades courses as well as helping over 500 students enter into apprenticeships through the Smart Force Mentoring Program.
