Last Revision : 31 Oct 2002

The Ministry of Education is funding nearly $20 million of the Laptops for Secondary Teachers Programme. All permanent full-time secondary teachers will be eligible for the programme where the Government will meet two-thirds and the school one third of the cost of leasing the laptops for three years. Schools are also expected to pay for professional development related to the use of the computers out of their existing budgets.
